Letters to Hope

You are upstairs crying your little head off again. I hate having to put you to bed, but you had a VERY big day today and are exhausted. You could barely keep your eyes open and you did not take two naps today only one and we lost an hour’s sleep because of the stupid time change so you are super over tired. You fell asleep in my arms when I was rocking you but once I tried to put you down you started crying again. I hate it when you cry.

Three Birthday Parties and Still Going Strong

You had ANOTHER party today for your birthday. You had one last weekend and then on Thursday (your actually birthday) and then today.

Next year and throughout the years I am sure we will just have one but this year was a little different. Since you won’t remember it, it was very casual. I decorated the dinning room and my parents came over along with your great grandparents on Mary’s side.

My Outside Girl and Your New Swing

They bought you a swing with a slide and we set it up so you can play on it. You love love love being outside. You would just spend all day out there if we would let you.

Also since I have not written in awhile I am not sure where I left off you are growing so fast. You ate banana pudding cake which you LOVED you smeared it every where and we even have it on tape. You are getting much better with people being around and where the life of the party even though at times you where a little cranky which is understandable since you where going on very little sleep. You basically ate sugar all day long today which is a BIG no no for me but since it was your birthday WEEK I let it slide.

You are getting so so super big you run all over the place and do the cutiest thing when we ask you how old you are you hold up both pointer fingers and yelp HAAA as we clap and say ONE ONE ONE. It is sooo damn cute. And when we ask you “what does Rocko say” you say MMMMMM mmmmmm like a dog barking with his mouth closed and when we ask how big you are you raise your little arms to the sky. It is sooo cute.

Language Development Coming Along

You really understand what we are saying now although I am having a hard time understanding what you are saying. I wish I would have stuck with the sign language. You help me unload the dishwasher and now I am teaching you to put stuff in the trash. You are just growing so fast, and talk about stubborn oh my goodness when you don’t want to do something or you DO want to do something there is no stopping you and you are only ONE it is just going to get harder from here I just know it. But you also run up and give me big hugs and snuggle with me and I love that.

I love you so much I am so excited that you are in my life.
